RTT® method

A focused, evidence-informed approach designed to create fast, lasting change by working directly with the subconscious mind.

What is RTT?

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a therapeutic approach that uses hypnotherapy as its core, integrating techniques and principles from other established approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), NLP, and psychotherapy.

Developed by renowned therapist and author Marisa Peer over more than three decades of clinical work, RTT was designed to create meaningful change by addressing the root cause of an issue - rather than managing its symptoms.

Many of the beliefs that shape how we think, feel, and behave are formed earlier in life and stored in the subconscious.

RTT helps bring those patterns into awareness - so they can be understood and changed.

Why RTT works

Most approaches focus on what is happening. RTT focuses on why it’s happening.

By identifying when and how a belief or pattern was formed, clients gain a level of understanding that allows change to happen more naturally and more quickly.

This process is supported by the brain’s ability to change - known as neuroplasticity - allowing new, more helpful neural pathways to be created.

How a session works

A session is structured, focused, and collaborative.

Sessions are typically held remotely, allowing you to be in a familiar, comfortable environment where the mind can settle more easily into the process. Many clients find this supports a deeper level of focus during the session.

It typically includes:

  • Exploring the issue and identifying patterns

  • Entering a deeply relaxed state to access the subconscious

  • Understanding when and how beliefs were formed

  • Reframing those beliefs from an adult perspective

  • Installing new, more supportive beliefs

Following the session, you receive a personalised recording designed to reinforce the change over the following weeks.

What makes RTT different

Unlike many approaches:

  • It does not rely solely on conscious willpower or repetition

  • It works directly with the subconscious, where patterns are formed

  • It focuses on uncovering the root cause of an issue

  • It combines insight with practical, lasting change

  • It often produces noticeable results more quickly than traditional approaches

This integration of methods - combined within a focused hypnotherapeutic framework - is what makes the process so effective.

What RTT can help with

RTT can be applied to a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Stress, burnout, and anxiety

  • Confidence and self-worth

  • Behavioural patterns and habits

  • Health-related challenges

  • Performance and mindset
